Position Overview:

The Bilingual Visa and Immigration Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's visa and immigration processes while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and candidates requiring visa sponsorship, providing guidance and support throughout the application process. The coordinator will work closely with external legal partners, track visa statuses and expirations, manage foreign travel documentation, and maintain accurate immigration records.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist applicants and employees with the visa application process, including TN, H-1B, employment-based Permanent Residency and other work visas.
  • In coordination with external legal support, prepare, review, and submit necessary visa and immigration forms and petitions to government agencies, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nonimmigrant visa and immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor expiration dates of visas and work permits to proactively manage renewals.
  • Stay informed on immigration laws and regulations to maintain full compliance, proactively managing visa and work permit expirations and renewals.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on visa and immigration-related matters, including eligibility, timelines, and required documentation.
  • Serve as the liaison between the company external legal partner for any visa and immigration-related inquiries, requests, or updates.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all visa and immigration-related documentation, communications, and applications.
  • Track and manage all foreign travel leaves to ensure documentation needed for travel is completed timely and leaves are administered within the dates permitted.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to track position movements including full-time/part-time changes of employees on work visas, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the visa and immigration processes and related workflows, working closely with internal stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Generate regular reports on the status of immigration cases, visa applications, renewals and expirations, and compliance audits for management and legal teams.
  • Assist in development of visa and immigration policies and procedures that align with business goals.
  • Assist with supplemental B reverification for I-9 purposes.

What You Offer Us:

  • Must have excellent judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, collaboration skills, and be self-motivated.
  • Fluent Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral.
  • Pluses: Education as paralegal, HR degree, Agriculture experience

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is $25 hourly to $32 hourly with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
